400 block of Hamilton Avenue, 1:07 p.m. Wednesday A male shot in front of his residence — possibly by three people seen leaving the area in a silver or gray Honda — was treated for an injury that was not considered life-threatening. 1300 block of Willow Road, 6 p.m. Wednesday Responding to reports of a male with a gun and a person shot, police located and arrested the gunman following a violent struggle that left an officer with moderate injuries. Once detained, police learned the 21-year-old Menlo Park resident had been involved in a traffic altercation with the wounded man, 24, and had tried to hit him with a bat before shooting him. The injured man was transported to a hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.
